<p><em><strong>The owner was planning on fixing the rockers and adding
some paint back in the 60's, but other more important priorities got in
the way and the car sat until 2011.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>The owner's son said the following to me. </strong></em></p>
<p><sup><span class="auto-style4"><strong>Since it was my Dad's car and it was disassembled before I was
born I only know the few things he told me. He drove it to Aspen
Colorado during a trip and he had raced it a couple times (It beat a
Porsche Speedster). It ran perfectly before he took it apart and
he said he disassembled it to "clean and paint" it. He had it
stored in a building in Troy for several years. This building was
a place where several people rented space to work on their classic cars
but I don't think he ever really did any work there. It was an
excuse to hang out with other car people and look at their cars.

<p><em><strong>In 2016, fifty plus years later, she was back on the road again.</strong></em></p>
