<H3>One of James D. Yoder's Newest Novels!</H3>
<P>A Branson Love charms readers with a story that captures the essence of life
in the Ozarks during the Great Depression. Lissa Massey and Brandon Fall
pledge their love for each other as they face hardships that would break
other folks.</P>
<P>Brandon feels called to be a minister, but caring for his disabled parents
stifles his plans. Lissa loves Brandon and supports his call, but she feels
she cannot compete with rival Marla Maggler's ambition and wealth.</P>
<P>Marla's animosity and Stafford's hypocrisy pile logs on the fire of Brandon's
and Lissa's trials. Marla is determined to ensnare Brandon. Lonely Stafford
proposes to Lissa while at the same time he and Marla derail Brandon's call
to preach.</P>
<P>When the villains' past dishonesties catch up with them, they receive their
comeuppance while Lissa and Brandon are freed to marry.
"Readers will cheer the ending of this charming book."

<H4>What are others saying about this book?</H4>
<UL>
<LI><STRONG>"I consider [<I>A Branson Love</I>] his best book thus far, simply topnotch
storytelling...I was quite amazed at Yoder's accurate portrayal of Depression
era details -- car running boards, Civilian Conservation Corps, Jack Armstrong
on a Philco radio, women's stocking seams, the Orphan Annie comic strip, Shirley
Temple glass pieces in the Ovaltime cans, telephone rings made of longs and shorts.
I was a child during those years. How did one so young get these details right?
He either did a lot of research or had excellent sources."</STRONG>

<LI><STRONG>"Yoder's most recent book, <I>A Branson Love,</I> details the lives
of Lissa Massey and Brandon Fall, two young people growing up in the Ozarks
during the Great Depression...Yoder brings the era to life amid a captivating
story of devotion and courage. <I>A Branson Love</I> presents a timeless
message -- that true love endures all things."</STRONG>
